These shoes are awesome, the best part is they are synthetic unlike other similar shoes that are made of leather. They are so soft and comfy, I love them. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is online they look khaki and brown but they are actually mint green and brown, which is not a very good mix to me, so I'm returning them for a different color scheme. Otherwise, I love these shoes!

Comfortable, a bit sweaty in the height of summer but not as bad a dress shoes.
They go with me from the office, to an evening out, and weekend light trekking. Great overall and fit many types of occasions.
One issue - one of the snaps came off when my leg was run into by a luggage cart. Used a bit of superglue to glue the snap backing back on and good as new.

Nice shoes that can take a variety of terrains, the only thing that I find rather bothersome is the strap and the button. Overall this are great shoes.

The World Awaits
Bought these shoes to take to India during Monsoon. I required: closed toe, good ventilation, easy drying, fashionable look, and COMFORT! These shoes were all that and more! They were extremely comfortable, looked nice when dressed up or when more casual, kept my feet cool and dry, protected my toes from accidents and muck. I got many compliments from local women on their looks. They came back looking as nice as they were the day I unpacked them. Caution- they do stretch a bit so if you intend to wear them mostly barefoot buy them a good month ahead of any real necessity to wear so you can break them in slowly- and buy them a half size less than you think. Just make sure your toes have enough room. The cloth binding across the top of the foot can be tight at first but breaks in nicely if you get it wet. I won't hesitate to recommend these shoes to savvy travelers!

Saddened by the standards of the publishing industry
They were just a touch loose, but other than that, exactly what I wanted. I stuck some Foot Petals in them, and they fit perfectly.
